Willow stars make a delightful decor item or gift, and are a great project for learning to work with basketry willow, getting a feeling for the materials, and learning basic weaving techniques which can be applied to other willow crafts and basket making.

This workshop will use prepared basketry willow grown at Bundle Sticks Farm, and will include an overview of willow production and how to prepare willow for craft work.

This workshop is suitable for teens and adults. The process is simple, but some patience, dexterity, and hand strength are required.

Participants will leave with at least one willow star of their own making, on a hanging loop for display.
